This course provides an overarching framework to think about Strategic Talent Management and explores a variety of components within the framework. Topics explored include aligning talent management to organizational strategy, the importance of talent philosophy in shaping your talent management approach, talent planning through succession and talent review processes, and engaging and developing employees as a part of the employee lifecycle experience.
1. Gain an understanding of what Strategic Talent Management is and what HR activities fall within it.
2. Develop an awareness of the importance of organizational strategy and talent philosophy in shaping an impactful and aligned Talent Management approach.
3. Build a fundamental understanding of key elements of the Talent Management framework to inform how one might apply these strategies within a specific work context.
